Not literally! Stay in your chairs, don't fly off into space. Yeeessh! Sorry, I had to give the warning. I've had people who actually run off in no particular direction when I tell then to RUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUN! Ok! You caught me! I'm trying to fill up space.
Anyways getting back to the real reason I must write this blog, class, and in specific, computer programming. Oh and by the way, before I lauch into my 10-page essay, I just have to inform you that I will be away at Niagara Falls tomorrow and therefore be missing computers :( I know, it's a bummer. Just when I was started to get fond of my computer friend..........
In class, we took down some notes and definitions related to computer programming. As I mentioned yesterday, we are supposed to create anothe glossary for our programming unit. I keep on adding to it. :D
I'm so cool like that. I know! Lets take a minute to give me a standing ovation!
Oh! I have som work for you readers. Don't worry, it only involves some basic grade 1 math. COUNTING!!!!
How many letters are in the words concatenation operator?
Exactly 21 letters!
This word is huge is it not??!??
Anyhow, we learned the meaning of this word alsong with many others. We also went over how to put comment in Turing and the equivalents of it in HTML and CSS. We learned what specific characters like a comma, plus sign, double quote etc. mean. We also learned about ouput field-width. By the way I apologize to Mr.Arkin for biting his head and bombarding him with questions all period. Oops! *nervous laugh*
Anyhow, I find computer programming highly interesting and fun.
Our homework was to add the word sequence to our glossary, read over the subprograms section and go finish the character graphics section.
Anyways, I am now going to go waste my time!
Bye guys!
