Hey y'all!!
Unfortunately we didn't have studio 218 on friday because we were doing a lot of constructive work. I was really looking forward to it! Anyways, there will always be many more Fridays; it's not like we have a shortage for them! Hee Hee! Ok, I know that was not funny, so I'll stop.
So, in class on Friday, we basically worked on coming up with more definitions for our glossary list. It was very interesting to learn about vocabulary and what role they play in our computer and home softwares. Up till the beginning of September, I couldn't even differ a monitor from a computer and mouse, nut knoe not only can I diffrentiate them, I can also create a website with my eyes closed!!! Ok, so I exaggerated a lot, but you know what I mean, right?
Another helpful thing that Mr.Arkin taught us to do was to alter our validation options. Usually when we validate our HTML of CSS, it tells us the line in which the error is in. But, who has the time to count the lines??? Which is why, Mr.Arkin showed us which options to click in order to display the line number next to the content. Believe me, it was way easier than having to count each line, losing count, starting again and so on so forth. Whew! *wipes bead of sweat off forehead*
Anyways, our homework for the weekend was to add out glossary terms to the list, and validate and upload it live on the web. Thank the lord that their was no time limit for this assignment, otherwise it would have been 12 a.m. by the time, I'd have finished. I know that my study habits go totally against Mr.Arkin's important sleep instructions. Oops! *nervous grin* Gotta' add that to the list of things to work on! That now brings me up to 167 thngs to work on. Just kidding! We also had to find pictures of our glossary words which were 100 by 100.
The only question,which is very stupid, I had, was regarding the pixels size of the pictures which p_leung cleared up for me. Thank you again!
