Blow out the Candles George Boole!

* Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to George Boole, Happy Birthday to you. How old are you now? How old are you now? How old are you now? Hoooow ooold aaare yooouuu nooooowww? *
Oops! I guess I can't ask George Boole that question considering that he has been dead for almost 150 years.
Just a bit of background information on George Boole : He was an English mathematician and philosopher. He is noted and remembered for his ideas on boolean algebra. In fact, we even have a datatype named after him : boolean. Isn't that amzing? Considering that he has been dead for a long time, it is amazing how his works of computer and algebra are still recognized.

Anyways, getting passed the happy mood, lets focus more on class today. Today we went over case statements. This was connected to our homeowrk yesterday which was to read "Selection 2". We learned that when you have more than 3 or 4 alternatives, it is easier, cleaner and more efficient to case statements.

We took good notes on that and got to use an ATM program. It was very interesting and gave us a some thought to how machines run in our daily life.
Our task for the period was to alter and work on the ATM program, while our homework was to guard it against negative values.
Anyways, I am going to end this now, because I need my beauty sleep.
* skeptical look from audience *
Ok..I lied. My dad goes to work a little early, so I am going to sleep early to get enough rest.
Stay tuned for more readers!
